Analysis of heat sources: Alternatives for improving environmental conditions in an underground gold mine

Heat generation in underground mines is a factor of extreme influence on the production, safety and comfort workers. This article aims to analyze heat sources an mine propose, as one alternatives improve ventilation conditions, replace diesel fleet with electric. The case study shows that this second source heat, being first autocompression, equipment third are fans. emitted by rock then stabilizes certain time having no significance temperature year 2019, but 2026 it will be significant source. evaluation was carried out gold near Belo Horizonte, capital State Minas Gerais using software Ventsim. In study, sensitive latent would reduced about 56% 80%, respectively, if change made. reduction generated system may working conditions because lower gas concentration, which reflect for higher worker's efficiency.
