Analyses of flood peak discharge in Cimadur river basin, Banten Province, Indonesia

Cimadur river basin is one of the most important catchment areas in Lebak District, Banten Province. For past few years, has experienced floods during rainy season. The big issue flooding been recorded recently December 2019 which caused damage and negative impacts to local people surrounding community. This study aims analyze possibility flood peak discharges area river. are calculated for 2, 5, 10, 25, 50, 100 years return period based on daily rainfall data from year 2011 2020. land use obtained PT Saeba Consultant. In this study, hydrological analyses including 1) average annual using Thiessen method; 2) distribution estimation design by considering three methods involving: Log-Normal, Log Pearson Type III, Gumbel 1; 3) adopting Nakayasu Synthetic Hydrograph Unit (SHU). show that III provided best fit. Based analyses, results 50 470.71 m 3 /s, 560.16 698 820.4 respectively.
