Masalah dalam kajian ini yaitu analisis struktural cerita rakyat Komering Seharuk karya Usman Nurdin. Kajian bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan Teori yang digunakan adalah teori Nurgiyantoro, bahwa struktur sastra fiksi terdiri dari tema, penokohan, alur, latar, dan amanat. Metode metode kualitatif, dengan pendekatan objektif. Sumber data berupa dokumen kata-kata atau kalimat buku Teknik pengumpulan menggunakan teknik baca, simak, catat. Hasil penelitian deskripsi Nurdin, meliputi tokoh, sudut pandang, Berdasarkan hasil dapat disimpulkan tema pelajaran hidup anak sebatang kara tinggal bersama neneknya. Tokoh utamanya digambarkan sebagai patuh, adapun tokoh tambahannya Nenek Seharuk, Pasirah Kai Pati, Perwatin Penjaga Gerbang, Lebai Penghulu Marga beberapa lainnya. Alur alur campuran.
