Analisis Performa Redundancy Link Menggunakan Metode Spanning Tree Protocol Dan Per VLAN Spanning Tree

چکیده

Redundansi jaringan sangat penting untuk memastikan ketersediaan internet dalam komputer. Spanning Tree Protocol (STP) dan Per VLAN (PVST) adalah dua metode yang dapat memberikan redundansi pada infrastruktur jaringan. Pada penelitian ini membandingkan kinerja kedua tersebut menyediakan link Perbandingan didasarkan waktu konvergensi, penyeimbangan beban lalu lintas, secara keseluruhan. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa PVST konvergensi lebih cepat dibandingkan dengan STP, juga muatan lintas baik, didistribusikan merata di seluruh tautan redundan. Namun, memerlukan banyak upaya konfigurasi pengelolaan karena kebutuhan mengonfigurasi STP setiap VLAN. Di sisi lain, mudah dikonfigurasi dikelola, tetapi mengakibatkan lambat traffic tidak merata.
