Analisis Peremajaan Kawasan Kumuh Kelurahan Kampung Aur Kecamatan Medan Maimun Kota Medan

The purpose of this study was to analyze the rejuvenation slum area Kampung Aur Village and Hamdan Village, Medan Maimun District. analytical method used is a quantitative descriptive using primary data secondary data. indicators are clean water, drainage, sanitation, solid waste, roads, socio-economic community, age, education, gender, number family dependents, length stay in area, income. analysis instrument simple linear regression SWOT. results showed that areas had positive effect on people's welfare, with coefficient value 0.667. others who were not included study. It known Sig. = 0.000 <0.05, it concluded village funds have significant community welfare. right strategy managing for namely a.) Recording land status ownership; b) Rehabilitating settlement infrastructure; c) Increasing government's role quality residential environment; d) Relocating people live near river banks; e) Creating encouraging realization healthy sluggish settlement.
