Anaerobic co-digestion of primary and secondary sewage sludge <i>Cladophora</i> green algae was investigated under mesophilic temperature conditions. The design experiment method the optimal mixture were used to systematically optimize substrate composition ratios elucidate possible synergistic effects for an anaerobic digestion system. A reduced cubic model created by Design-Expert software as a function ratios. validated ANOVA experimentally. Also, ratio's on variations in biogas production studied.
