چکیده
Redox homeostasis, a dynamic process ensuring balance between cellular oxidizing and reducing reactions, is crucial for maintaining healthy physiology regulating many biological processes, requiring continuous monitoring fine-tuning. Reactive species play critical role in intra/intercellular signaling, each cell has specific system guarding redox homeostasis. ROS signaling oxidative stress are involved cancer initiation progression. However, the generation of reactive beyond threshold level inside tumor microenvironment considered one therapeutic approaches. Various studies have shown that some phytochemicals can target homeostasis microenvironment. Recent advances focused on developing introducing phytochemical interventions as favorable options against cancer. also suggested “virtuous” “evil” impacts phytochemicals. Some enhance efficacy by promoting intracellular oxidant accumulation. under certain conditions, may harm to promote tend different pathways development instead targeting In this context, review providing an overall understanding intends highlight potential positive negative disease development. We discuss recent nanotechnology-based advancements combating
