چکیده
The aim of this research is to examine the radiation shielding properties 5B2O3-40SiO2-(55-x)Al2O3-xBaO (BSABa-x) glass systems, which are containing barium and aluminum oxide added borosilicate glasses, with varying from 25 34 weight fractions. Shielding parameters, such as linear attenuation coefficients (LAC), mass (MAC), mean free path (MFP), effective atomic number (Zeff), electron density (Neff), half-value layer (HVL), tenth-value (TVL), (Aeff), exposure buildup factors (EBF) energy absorption (EABF) enable us obtain information about power composite material groups. Therefore, for 0.015–15 MeV gamma-ray energies obtained by using Py-MLBUF online software determine photon parameters BSABa-x glasses. results shown that contains higher BaO concentration has coefficients. BSABa-34 highest MACs, ranging 0.111 cm2/g 90.400 cm2/g, while BSABa-25 lowest values, 0.099 69.000 cm2/g. contribution thinnest MFP HVL values. In addition, minimized adding Accordingly, we can conclude glasses at increasing rates, improves nuclear resistance properties.

Investigation of gamma radiation induced changes in local structure of borosilicate glass by TDPAC and EXAFS
Gamma radiation induced changes in local structure around the probe atom (Hafnium) were investigated in sodium barium borosilicate (NBS) glass, used for immobilization of high level liquid waste generated from the reprocessing plant at Trombay, Mumbai. The (NBS) glass was doped with 181Hf as a probe for time differential perturbed angular correlation (TDPAC) spectroscopy studies, while for stud...

15 صفحه اولan investigation of the impact of self monitoring on langauge teachers motivational practice and its effect on learners motivation
the central purpose of this study was to conduct a case study about the role of self monitoring in teacher’s use of motivational strategies. furthermore it focused on how these strategies affected students’ motivational behavior. although many studies have been done to investigate teachers’ motivational strategies use (cheng & d?rnyei, 2007; d?rnyei & csizer, 1998; green, 2001, guilloteaux & d?...
Thermal shock properties of chemically toughened borosilicate glass
This paper describes an experimental test of the uni®ed theory of thermal shock. A borosilicate glass (78.1%SiO2± 13.3%B2O3±4.7%Na2O±3.4%Al2O3) subjected to ion-exchange in molten KNO3, was used. The theory predicts the critical temperature dierence for fracture initiation by thermal shock; however, it overestimates the number of cracks which propagate simultaneously. Despite that fact, taken ...
متن کاملan investigation on tensile properties of glass fiber/aluminium laminates
the idea of combining low weight and good mechanical properties has led to efforts to develop a new light fiber/metal laminate (fml) in the last decade. fmls are hybrid composites consisting of alternating thin layers of metal sheets and fiber-reinforced epoxy prepregs. in this study, the effect of fiber orientation on tensile properties of this material is investigated both analytically and ex...
