An insight on molecular diversity in ricebean (Vigna umbellata) genotypes using microsatellite markers

A total of 25 adzukibean derived SSR markers were used for molecular diversity analysis among 45 ricebean genotypes and a greengram cultivar, CO 7. Cross species amplification was observed all the in ricebean. Number alleles, present study, varied from one to three. In ricebean, allele size ranged 110 250 bp, whereas it bp. PIC values 0.198 0.689. Out markers, 13 found be polymorphic genotypes. Apart this, differentiated Dissimilarity between 7 greater when compared dissimilarity within Dendrogram tree generated based on Ward’s neighbor joining methods classified into five clusters three groups, respectively.
