An Innovative Post Grouting Technique for Soil Nails

This study presents an innovative technique of executing soil nails called sectorized post grouting (SPG). The most utilized nail is gravity grouting, with the literature reporting advances in pressurized grouting. Although obtaining higher pullout resistance nails, mostly done single-stage does not compensate for exudation and its use lengths difficult. Thus, a has been developed that compensates exudation, easier application lengthier nails. was qualitatively assessed to evaluate surface roughness later applied seven real nailing works, where it could be quantitatively assessed. results show post-grouted obtained greater resistances than grouted similar improvement found tube-à-manchette (TAM) this method lower economic efficiency can future works executed utilizing SPG.
