An information behavior theory of transitions

This paper proposes a theory of life transitions focused on information behavior. Through process meta-ethnography, the transforms series influential theories and models into for use in Information Science. characterizes psychological processes involved as consisting three main stages, Understanding, Negotiating, Resolving, each which have qualitatively different behaviors require types support. The discusses theoretical implications this ways can be used to provide practical support those undergoing transitions.
