An explicit formulation of the macroscopic strength criterion for porous media with pressure and Lode angle dependent matrix under axisymmetric loading

This paper aims to propose an explicit formulation of the macroscopic strength criterion for porous media with spherical voids. The matrix is assumed rigid and perfectly plastic yield surface described by three-parameter criterion, which Lode angle pressure dependent capable accounting distinct values uniaxial tensile strength, compressive (UCS) equal biaxial (eBCS). An exact upper bound derived subjected purely hydrostatic loading. Besides, estimate profile under axisymmetric loading obtained in parametric form. Moreover, a heuristic form further developed examining limit cases criterion. criteria are assessed finite-element based numerical solutions. Compared involves cumbersome functions, one convenient practical applications. For specific matrix's surface, proposed can recover well-known Gurson present work also addresses effect ratio eBCS UCS on media. UCS, neglecting difference between would result underestimation especially when large.
