An Experimental Study of Industrial Site and Shaft Pillar Mining at Jinggezhuang Coal Mine

نویسندگان

چکیده

Engineering site and shaft pillars are excavated to prolong the life of collieries excavate more underground coal. The Jinggezhuang colliery (‘JGZ’) is a resource-exhausted coal mine in eastern China. It was determined that industrial pillar JGZ would be extracted 2008. This study an experimental panel examine effect excavation on surface buildings complicated geological conditions. A new design proposed based monitoring increase recovery ratio. To maintain safety engineering facilities, 0091 mined deformation monitored during experiment. characteristics parameters were obtained using back analysis method. designed measured from 0091. maintained but relaxed restriction influence constructions at site. prediction results subsidence main building analyzed. maximum 7419 mm, shafts less than 10 mm. weakly influenced by excavation. can used as basic information for maintenance future. Using design, 2.54 million tons resources mined. provides example reference

Comparing the “Modified Split and Fender” and “Shortwall” Methods for the Pillar Recovery in Room and Pillar Coal Mining Using A 3D Finite Difference Modeling in Tabas Central Coal Mine, Iran

Selecting a suitable pillar recovery method is one of the most important issues in the room and pillar mining. The main purpose of this study is to compare two methods for pillar recovery in Tabas central coal mine (TCM). Among the existing methods, the two methods, “Modified split and fender” and “Shortwall” are chosen for the numerical modeling. The three dimensional finite difference method ...

An Innovative Longwall Mining Technology in Tangshan Coal Mine, China

In mining of inclined coal seams in Tangshan coal mine of Kailuan group, gateways on either end of a panel were both typically located along the floor and a gateway pillar between adjoining panels was left unmined between adjacent panels to ensure stability, thus forming a planar mining system. According to the practice, however, it turned out that this conventional mining system has long-stand...

Groundwater Fate of Aromatic Hydrocarbons at Industrial Sites: a Coal Tar Site Case Study

The fate of groundwater contaminants in anthropogenic fill materials was investigated at a coal tar site, Site YYZ. This site was representative of other contaminated sites with a history of industrialization at which wastes from process operations form the local subsurface solids. The solids composing the groundwater-bearing unit at Site YYZ were reactants (oil), byproducts (tar, coke) and was...
