چکیده
Due to the complex challenges of environment and emotion expressions, most facial expression recognition systems cannot achieve a high rate. More discriminative features can describe expressions more accurately, so feature extraction is key technology for recognition. In this article, an effective end-to-end deep model proposed improve accuracy face Considering importance data pre-processing (very few studies have focused on process), first, enhancement method locate range target enhance image contrast. Next, obtain further features, hybrid representation proposed, in which four typical are combined. After that, designed train test samples optimal parameters with less computation cost. Ablation study results show that help accuracy. Finally, comprehensively evaluate performance model, series experiments conducted three benchmark datasets. The rate achieved 94.5%, 98.6%, 97.2% FER2013, AR dataset, CK+ respectively.

متن کاملIsland Loss for Learning Discriminative Features in Facial Expression Recognition
Over the past few years, Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) have shown promise on facial expression recognition. However, the performance degrades dramatically under real-world settings due to variations introduced by subtle facial appearance changes, head pose variations, illumination changes, and occlusions. In this paper, a novel island loss is proposed to enhance the discriminative power ...

Introduction: The primary aim of facial reanimation surgery is to restore tone, symmetry, and movement to the paralyzed face. Hypoglossal-facial end-to-side anastomosis provides satisfactory facial reanimation in the irreversible proximal injury of the facial nerve. This study discussed the facial function results of end-to-side anastomosing of hypoglossal nerve to facial nerve when the i...

Human Machine Interaction systems are able to perceive facial expressions more naturally and reliably. In this paper, we introduced a new idea to recognize facial expression by selecting the most discriminative facial regions relying on facial expression appearance. The proposed approach is based on the prior knowledge of psychology studies which show that only some facial regions are descripti...
