An Efficient Algebraic Solution for Moving Source Localization from Quadruple Hybrid Measurements

This paper deals with the 3-D moving source localization using time difference of arrival (TDOA), frequency (FDOA), angle (AOA) and AOA rate measurements, gathered from a set spatially distributed receivers. The TDOA, FDOA, measurement equations were firstly established according to space geometric relationship relative Then an efficient closed-form algorithm for position velocity estimation quadruple hybrid measurements was proposed. proposed converts nonlinear into linear equations, which can then be used estimate applying weighted least square (WLS) minimization. In contrast existing two-stage WLS algorithms, does not introduce any nuisance parameters requires merely one-stage, enables fewest receivers necessary. Theoretical accuracy analysis shows that reaches Cramer-Rao lower bound, simulation studies corroborate efficiency superiority over other algorithms.
