An Atypical Presentation of Penile Fracture with Urethral Injury

Background: Penile fracture is a urological emergency that occurs following traumatic rupture of the tunica albuginea. Patients experience an audible ‘pop’ and immediate detumescence during sexual activity, followed by pain, swelling ecchymosis. It uncommon for patients to present without these typical clinical findings. Case Presentation: This case report describes 33-year-old male with atypical penile associated urethral injury. He reported mild pain as his penis buckled against partner’s thigh intercourse sudden detumescence. Examination was unremarkable other than gross blood at external meatus. MRI identified 4 mm focal capsular defect ventral aspect left corpora cav-ernosum. Flexible cystoscopy 2cm longitudinal tear in distal urethra. The patient underwentsuccessful surgical repair no long term sequalae.Conclusions: authors this wish highlight importance keeping high index suspi-cion fractures light history.
