Abstract Analysis of the dynamic response a complex nonlinear system is always difficult problem. By using Volterra functional series to describe system, its analysis can be similar Fourier/Laplace transform and linear transfer function method analyse system's response. In this paper, for systems based on developed. Firstly, recursive formula least square established solve kernel vector, corresponding MATLAB programme compiled. Then, vector structure under seismic excitation identified, accuracy applicability predict are analysed. The results show that identified by derived accurately characteristics an excitation.
