Granular soils are used in different areas of civil engineering due to their easy accessibility and low cost as a material. The sieve analysis method, which has been conducted rock physics measurements for many years, practicing determining the particle size distributions those materials. In this study, method based on image technique developed an alternative traditional distribution granular soils. This processing determine via experimental setup that consist camera, tripod, light box mechanical shaking apparatus. order assess reliability technique, each sample was subjected results both methods were compared. conclusion, it observed obtained with had minimum 95.22% closeness experiment data.
