An agent-based model for modal shift in public transport

چکیده

Modal shift in public transport as a consequence of disruption on line has some cases unforeseen consequences such an increase congestion the rest network. How information is provided to users and their behavior plays central role configurations. We introduce here simple stylised agent-based model aimed at understanding impact behavioural parameters modal shift. The applied case study based stated preference survey for segment Paris suburban train systematically explore parameter space show non-trivial patterns values discrete choice linked perceived wait time congestion. also apply genetic optimisation algorithm search optimal compromises between different modes.
