چکیده
Aminated covalent organic polymer (ACOP) was synthesized through a catalyst-free Schiff base reaction involving terephthalaldehyde and melamine, the prepared ACOP used for adsorption of anionic dyes. The possessed high specific surface area (582.07 m2/g) with an average pore size 88.71 Å. Its point zero charge determined as pH 8.26. Anionic dye molecules, methyl orange (MO) G (OG), were to evaluate efficiency ACOP, it found that they adsorbed rapidly on within 1 min. maximum capacities (qm) MO OG 351.9 227.9 mg/g, respectively. Furthermore, results function initial presence/absence cationic (methylene blue; MB) revealed proceeded charge–charge π–π interactions. presence MB along enhanced capacity because synergistic effect positively charged quaternized nitrogen atoms in ACOP. mechanism further investigated using Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) analysis X-ray photoelectron spectrometry (XPS). adsorbent herein facile offers rapid over wide range dye. For these reasons, can be environmental remediation, especially aqueous systems.

Adsorption of phenolic compounds from aqueous solutions by aminated hypercrosslinked polymers.
Two novel polymers (NJ-1 and NJ-2) were synthesized by chemically modified a hypercrosslinked polymer NJ-0 with dimethylamine and trimethylamine, respectively. The comparison of the adsorption properties of the three polymers toward phenol, resorcin and phloroglucin was made. The study focused on the static equilibrium adsorption behaviors and the adsorption thermodynamics. Freundlich equation ...
متن کاملAdsorption of eriochrome black dye from aqueous solution onto anionic layered double hydroxides
The potential feasibility of anionic clay hydrotalcite for removal of eriochrome black dye from aqueous solution was investigated. The effects of various experimental parameters such as contact time, pH and adsorbent dosage were investigated. The extent of eriochrome black dye removal increased with the increased in contact time, pH and amount of adsorbent used. Adsorption data was fitted to th...
متن کاملPyrene‐cored covalent organic polymers by thiophene‐based isomers, their gas adsorption, and photophysical properties
Two new pyrene-cored covalent organic polymers (COPs), CK-COP-1 and CK-COP-2, were synthesized via the one-step polymerization of two thiophene-based isomers, 1,3,6,8-tetra(thiophene-2-yl) pyrene (L1 ) and 1,3,6,8-tetra(thiophene-3-yl) pyrene (L2 ). The resulting pyrene-cored COPs exhibit rather different surface areas of 54 m2 g-1 and 615 m2g-1 for CK-COP-1 and CK-COP-2, respectively. The CO2 ...
متن کاملThermal and chemical modification of bentonite for adsorption of an anionic dye
Raw bentonite (RB), a known low-cost versatile clay was used as an adsorbent. RB was treated thermally and chemically to increase its adsorption capacity. For thermal treatment (TTB), the bentonite was heated at 400 °C for 60 min, and for the chemical modification, its surface was treated by cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) to prepare organo-modified bentonite (CTAB-B). The removal of Cong...
متن کاملA triazine-based covalent organic polymer for efficient CO2 adsorption.
A new triazine functionalized hexagonally ordered covalent organic polymer (TRITER-1) has been synthesized via the Schiff-base condensation reaction between a tailor made triamine 1,3,5-tris-(4-aminophenyl)triazine (TAPT) and terephthaldehyde. This ordered porous polymer showed a high BET surface area (716 m(2) g(-1)) and an excellent CO2 uptake capacity of 58.9 wt% at 273 K under 5 bar pressure.
