چکیده

ABSTRACT Interstellar amides have attracted significant attentions as they are potential precursors for a wide variety of organics essential to life. However, our current understanding their formation in space is heavily based on observations star-forming regions and hence the chemical networks lack constraints early origin. In this work, unbiased sensitive spectral surveys with IRAM 30 m Yebes 40 telescopes used systematically study number towards quiescent Galactic centre molecular cloud, G+0.693−0.027. We report first detection acetamide (CH3C(O)NH2) trans-N-methylformamide (CH3NHCHO) cloud. addition, wider frequency coverage survey, we revisited formamide (NH2CHO) urea (carbamide; NH2C(O)NH2), which had been reported previously Our results compared those present literature including recent laboratory experiments models. find constant abundance ratios independently evolutionary stages, suggesting that related chemistry triggered stages cloud remain unaffected by warm-up phase during star process. Although correlation between more complex NH2CHO suggested, alternative routes involving other such acetaldehyde (CH3CHO), methyl isocyanate (CH3NCO), methylamine (CH3NH2) may also contribute production amides. Observations together these species larger sample sources can help constrain amide interstellar medium.

Number Crunching towards Molecular Barcoding

Molecules are the basic and most important players of life. Molecules are composed of atoms, and each molecule has two main specifications or inheritances that are structures, and in biomedical applications, biological function. This dichotomy can be compared to living organisms or humans whom possess genotype and phenotype. Each of the two main inherited elements contains a variety of feat...

Molecular Clouds Towards RCW49 and Westerlund 2; Evidence for Cluster Formation Triggered by Cloud-Cloud Collision

We have made CO(J = 2− 1) observations towards the HII region RCW 49 and its ionizing source, the rich stellar cluster Westerlund 2, with the NANTEN2 sub-mm telescope. These observations have revealed that two molecular clouds in velocity ranges of −11 to +9 km s and 11 to 21 km s respectively, show remarkably good spatial correlations with the Spitzer IRAC mid-infrared image of RCW 49, as well...

The California Molecular Cloud

We present an analysis of wide-field infrared extinction maps of a region in Perseus just north of the Taurus-Auriga dark cloud complex. From this analysis we have identified a massive, nearby, but previously unrecognized, giant molecular cloud (GMC). Both a uniform foreground star density and measurements of the cloud’s velocity field from CO observations indicate that this cloud is likely a c...

Towards Knowledge in the Cloud

Knowledge in the form of semantic data is becoming more and more ubiquitous, and the need for scalable, dynamic systems to support collaborative work with such distributed, heterogeneous knowledge arises. We extend the “data in the cloud” approach that is emerging today to “knowledge in the cloud”, with support for handling semantic information, organizing and finding it efficiently and providi...

The enhancement of PCR amplification by low molecular weight amides.

Amplification of a DNA target by the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) often requires laborious optimization efforts. In this regard, the use of certain organic chemicals such as dimethyl sulfoxide, polyethylene glycol, betaine and formamide as cosolvents has been found to be very helpful. Unfortunately, very little is known about the precise structural features that make these additives effectiv...
