چکیده

Objective: Stroke is a significant global health concern, leading to high mortality and disability rates. Prompt assessment, management, rehabilitation are crucial for improving clinical outcomes. Balance impairment common consequence of stroke, affecting the majority survivors increasing risk falls disability.
Methods: The study included 30 post-stroke hemiplegic individuals, randomly assigned control group an experimental group. received conventional physical therapy, while additional visual verbal feedback. Berg Scale was used assess balance on days 1, 15, 30.
Results: Both groups showed improvements in scores over time. However, consistently had higher scores, indicating greater effect incorporating cues with therapy.
Conclusion: Our demonstrates that combination therapy leads improved outcomes stroke recovery. These findings support benefits feedback, mirror rehabilitation. Incorporating these alternative methods can be cost-effective accessible interventions enhance balance, reduce fall risk, improve overall recovery quality life survivors.

Effect of Resisted Bimanual Therapy With Auditory Cues on Arm Function, Balance, and Endurance in Stroke Survivors: A Pilot Study

Objectives: Upper limb motor impairment causes limited activities of daily living in stroke survivors. Bimanual therapy is based on Bimanual movement that facilitates cortical balancing by simultaneous movement of paretic and non-paretic arms while performing a task. Studies aimed at exploring the effects of resisted Bimanual therapy with rhythmic auditory cues on arm function, balance, and end...

Fundamental differences in visual search with verbal and pictorial cues

Three experiments examined the effects of using informative verbal and pictorial cues on participants' abilities to perform visual search. By providing participants with more time to encode the cues than had been used previously, all three experiments revealed long-lasting pictorially cued search advantages that stabilized over time. Experiments 1 and 3 demonstrated that searching for changing ...
