Allometric Expression of Sesame Cultivars in Response to Various Environments and Nutrition

Sesame cultivars perform differently in various environments comprising specific locations and years. Micronutrient fertilizers increase crop yields can enhance resistance to environmental hazards contribute potential yield. For assessing the effect of environment micronutrients, field experiments were carried out at three different (BARI, URF NARC) Pothwar region, Pakistan, two succeeding years (2014, 2015). Four sesame micronutrients (Zn, B Mn) with a control treatment used RCB design split-plot procedure four replications. The results showed significant differences main effects all tested factors (cultivars, years). Maximum mean values plant height, capsules plant?1, biomass yield seed recorded for SG-30, while TH-6 was lowest these parameters. capsule length, weight, seeds capsules?1 weight 1000 but vice versa SG-30. length capsule?1 observed NARC, other growth attributes maximum BARI URF, including interactive cultivar × location year highly traits except length. revealed differential response during both Application significantly augmented features sesame. (i.e., ZnSO4 10 kg ha?1, borax ha?1 MnSO4 5 ha?1) would yield-attributing low- or medium-precipitation areas where suitable have been designated.
