چکیده
MN55 is an apple ( Malus × domestica Borkh.) cultivar recently released by the University of Minnesota breeding program, with fruit marketed in U.S. as Rave ® . When stored for 4 months at 0 to °C, can develop several storage disorders, including skin dimpling. Skin dimpling incidence was greater harvested 1 week later than those earlier. Dimpling not alleviated prestorage treatments 1-methylcyclopropene or diphenylamine holding room temperature day before long-term cold storage. However, very low when were 6 7 °C. Because viruses have been implicated other presence leaves and studied. Apple stem pitting virus (ASPV) detected microscopy, reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) methodology, high throughput sequencing (HTS) peel from trees that exhibited after ASPV also supermarket-purchased cultivars noticeable Although conclusively demonstrated cause our work, its prevalence indicates further investigations are warranted determine relationship between deformities apples.

15 صفحه اولSequence diversity and potential recombination events in the coat protein gene of Apple stem pitting virus.
The variability of the Apple stem pitting virus (ASPV) coat protein (CP) gene was investigated. The CP gene of ten virus isolates from apple and pear trees was sequenced. Comparison of all sequenced virus isolates revealed high diversity of the CP gene (70.7-93.5% at the nucleotide level and 77.8-98.7% at the amino acid level). Additionally, one or two deletions in the N-terminal part of the co...
متن کاملControl of Postharvest Decay of Apple Fruit with Candida saitoana and Induction of Defense Responses.
ABSTRACT The ability of Candida saitoana to induce systemic resistance in apple fruit against Botrytis cinerea was investigated. To separate the antagonistic activity of C. saitoana from its ability to induce resistance, the antagonist and the pathogen were applied in spatially separated wounds. In fresh apples, C. saitoana applied 0 or 24 h before inoculation with B. cinerea showed no effect o...
