Hegel?s Phenomenology of Spirit put alienation high on the philosophical agenda, as was readily recognized by Marx. Relatively well-known is also that concept inspired Goethe?s translation Diderot?s dialogue Rameau?s Nephew, but details and conceptual implications these typically escape scholarly attention. Recognizing basic idea not-belonging to or being deprived something, I emphasize implies a movement towards limits human being, in which mental suffering this involves conditioned social pathologies. To substantiate claim, show how satire uncompromising materialist criticism, it does not employ term ?ali?nation? instead reserves for kind frenzy borders insanity. My claim then that, dialogue, his ?Entfremdung?, Hegel found general key critique spirit Modernity. therefore argue Phenomenology, employed more than one sense, raising madness level characteristic Modernity, stressing detrimental consciousness under such living conditions, emphasizing works negation, and, finally, pointing nevertheless possibility embracing political reality.
