Alginate-Based Zinc Oxide Nanoparticles Coating Extends Storage Life and Maintains Quality Parameters of Mango Fruits “cv. Kiett”

In this study, we describe the synthesis of zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnO NPs) and evaluate impact alginate-based ZnO NPs (Alg–ZnO on microbiological activity, storage behavior, physico-chemical properties ‘Kiett’ mango fruit. However, was comparatively less significant than ones. NP treatment maintained better fruit quality, controlled decay incidence, increased shelf life fruits. Firmness titratable acidity (TA) significantly decreased during storage, but decrease reduced We conclude that could be promising safe alternative for maintaining extending period, increasing ‘cv. Kiett’.
