Empruntant ses mécanismes d’élaboration à la fiction, le motif du complot juif constitue chez Albert Cohen l’objet de multiples fictions. La première strate ce se situe dans un discours social fait rumeurs et préjugés. Le Juif y est érigé en bouc émissaire d’une société qui lui attribuant tous les méfaits monde moderne tente rendre l’univers sa lisibilité. Mais s’inscrit aussi imaginaire romanesque, parfois parodique, permet réécrire l’histoire renverser termes conspiration. sémite devient ainsi des antisémites. troisième fictif épistémologique, témoignant l’effondrement raison Lumières prétention éclairer monde, lisible. Elle révèle tout fois univers devenu sans une devenue paranoïaque.
