چکیده
This study evaluated Al-ZSM-5 nanocrystals grown from silicalite-1 seed crystals as catalysts for the methane dehydroaromatization (MDA) reaction. Silicalite-1 sized between 30 and 40 nm were used to grow under various synthesis conditions. The size of was significantly affected by Si/Al ratio (SAR), time, silica nutrients/seed crystal (NSR). Larger obtained with an increased SAR in sols. Gradual growth occurred although ceased at 5 h 120 °C, indicating rapid aided seeds. Precise tuning possible changing nutrient/silicalite-1 ratio; a higher NSR led larger crystals. Two representative SARs 35 140 prepared catalyst testing, sizes tailored <100 controlling NSR. MDA reaction conducted presence Al-ZSM-5. exhibited distinct differences stability, while did not produce noticeable changes stability commercial zeolites this system.

Facile Synthesis of a Novel Hierarchical ZSM‐5 Zeolite: A Stable Acid Catalyst for Dehydrating Glycerol to Acrolein
Catalytic biomass conversion is often hindered by coking. Carbon compounds cover active surface and plug pores, causing catalyst deactivation. Material design at the nanoscale allows tailoring of the catalytic activity and stability. Here, we report a simple synthesis of nanosized ZSM-5 materials by using a silicalite-1 seeding suspension. ZSM-5 crystals were grown from a deionized silica sourc...
متن کاملCu-ZSM-5: A biomimetic inorganic model for methane oxidation.
The present work highlights recent advances in elucidating the methane oxidation mechanism of inorganic Cu-ZSM-5 biomimic and in identifying the reactive intermediates that are involved. Such molecular understanding is important in view of upgrading abundantly available methane, but also to comprehend the working mechanism of genuine Cu-containing oxidation enzymes.
متن کاملConversion of Methanol on CuO/H-MOR and CuO/H-ZSM-5 Catalysts.
This paper deals with maximizing dimethyl ether (DME) production from methanol due to its industrial importance as a future diesel fuel. The high acidity and the micro-porous structure of the catalysts encouraged this reaction. Catalysts containg 6% CuO supported on H-ZSM-5 and H-MOR zeolites give high activities for DME production. The 6% CuO/HMOR is more selective for DME production, while th...

متن کاملConfined Carbon Mediating Dehydroaromatization of Methane over Mo/ZSM‐5
Non-oxidative dehydroaromatization of methane (MDA) is a promising catalytic process for direct valorization of natural gas to liquid hydrocarbons. The application of this reaction in practical technology is hindered by a lack of understanding about the mechanism and nature of the active sites in benchmark zeolite-based Mo/ZSM-5 catalysts, which precludes the solution of problems such as rapid ...
