Airy-based static limit analysis of structures using stabilized radial point interpolation method

چکیده
This paper presents a novel formulation for static limit analysis of structures, which the Airy stress function is approximated using stabilized Radial Point Interpolation Mesh-free method (RPIM). The field determined as second-order derivatives function, and equilibrium equations are automatically satisfied priori. so-called Stabilized Conforming Nodal Integration (SCNI) employed to ensure present truly mesh-free approach, meaning that all constraints in problems only enforced at nodes. With use SCNI, Second-Order Cone Programming (SOCP), size resulting problem kept be minimum. Several benchmark having arbitrary geometries boundary conditions investigated. obtained numerical solutions compared with those available other studies perform computational aspect proposed method.
