چکیده

This research aims to know the agronomic character and resistance of shallots against fusarium wilt disease under various salicylic acid treatments. was conducted in a greenhouse using completely randomized design with one factor, namely treatment concentrations (0 ppm, 15 20 25 ppm) 3 replications. Each inoculated Fusarium acutatum inoculum (106 conidia ml-1 distilled water) except for negative control, without being inoculum. The materials used included shallot bulbs Tajuk variety, synthetic acid, Variables observation characters include; plant height, number leaves, fresh tuber weight while component variables incubation period, incidence. data obtained were analyzed by analysis variance (ANOVA) significance level 95%, then DMRT test (95%) carried out determine differences between results showed that there significant difference 0 ppm (control) 15, 20, on weight, Meanwhile leaves period no control treatment. Salicylic at concentration highest height (34.26 cm), (24.46 strands), (6.30 g), least incidence (14.55%).

Seed Treatments Induced Systemic Resistance in Chickpea against Fusarium Wilt in Wilt Sick Field

Induced systemic resistance in chickpea against wilt disease caused by Fusarium oxysorum f. sp. ciceri (FOC) was studied by treating the seeds with benzo (1,2,3)-thiadizole-7-carbothioic acid smethyl ester (Bion), salicylic acid (SA) and dipotassium hydrogen phosphate (K2HPO4). Reduction in disease was observed in both type of applications but seed dressing was found more effective than soaking...

Induction of Systemic Resistance of Benzothiadiazole and Humic Acid in Soybean Plants Against Fusarium Wilt Disease

The ability of benzothiadiazole (BTH) and/or humic acid (HA) used as seed soaking to induce systemic resistance against a pathogenic strain of Fusarium oxysporum was examined in four soybean cultivars under greenhouse conditions. Alone and in combination the inducers were able to protect soybean plants against damping-off and wilt diseases compared with check treatment. These results were confi...

Screening some Iranian Muskmelon Landraces for Resistance Against Fusarium Wilt Disease using Molecular Markers

Fusarium wilt is one of the most destructive diseases of muskmelon (Cucumis melo L.), which is an economically important disease worldwide causes yield losses in muskmelon growing areas. One of the most effective controlling measures to prevent Fusarium wilt is through host resistance by using resistance genes. We used developed molecular markers for Fom-2 gene, which confers ...

Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi: Biocontrol against Fusarium Wilt of Chickpea

The present study shows the status of mycorrhization in three test varieties of chickpea. As the results revealed irrespective to the crops when arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) were assessed under the influence of soil quality better results were obtained with unsterile soil in comparison to sterile soil. Chickpea variety ICC 11322 showed the best result against the Fusarium wilt and chickpe...

Characterization of Flax Germplasm for Resistance to Fusarium Wilt

Fusarium wilt of flax (Linum usitatissimum L.) caused by Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. lini (Fol) is an economically important disease that can result in severe yield losses. Due to the pathogen’s ability to survive in soil for long periods, it is essential to identify fusarium wilt resistant flax varieties. The objectives of the study were to phenotype and compare a recombinant inbred line (RIL) p...
