Agent-Based Coordinated Control of Power Electronic Converters in a Microgrid

This paper presents the implementation of an agent-based architecture suitable for coordination power electronic converters in stand-alone microgrids. To this end, a publish-subscribe agent was utilized as distributed microgrid control platform. Over hash table (DHT) searching overlay, identified based on numerical analysis scalable technology real-time The developed framework set up to deploy power-sharing optimization algorithms while keeping deterministic time period few tens milliseconds system with and when multiple events might happen concurrently. Several agents participate supervisory regulate optimum converters. test design, notional shipboard system, including several converters, used case study. Results implementing using Java Agent Development Framework (JADE) are presented.
