چکیده

Understanding water use characteristics of revegetation species is crucial for evaluating plant adaptability and guiding the sustainability vegetation restoration in semiarid regions. Ecological projects have been implemented decades degraded ecosystems, achieving significant changes cover. However, main tree at different ages remain poorly understood such systems. We investigated Robinia pseudoacacia plantations stand-age (18 30 years). The most widely planted efforts on Loess Plateau. ?2H ?18O xylem soil within 500 cm surface ?13C values leaves were measured during two consecutive hydrological years. results showed that uptake proportions from across columns changed 18-yr R. between a drier (2016) wetter year (2017). In contrast, shallow was largely comparable stand 30-yr 2016 2017, similarly pattern by roots middle deep column comparable. leaf-level efficiency (WUEi) trees older plantation higher year, thereby partly alleviating low infiltration to precipitation ratio. These findings suggest distinct display responses variations precipitation. Older respond increased availability increasing WUEi instead switching sources. This means an essential factor be considered ecological management, which can enhance effectiveness strategies. study indicates useful input research management throughout continuity effort.

Evaluations of Different Leaf and Canopy Photosynthesis Models: a Case Study with Black Locust (robinia Pseudoacacia) Plantations on a Loess Plateau

To evaluate the applicability of leaf and canopy photosynthesis models, we compared performance of 6 leaf models and validated 1 canopy model of photosynthesis based on field data of black locust (Robinia pseudoacacia L.) plantations on a Loess Plateau in northern China. Leaf photosynthetic light response curves and diurnal canopy photosynthetic rates were observed in the field in August 2009. ...

Chromatographic Analysis of the Flavonoids from Robinia Pseudoacacia Species

THE PURPOSE OF THIS STUDY WAS THE QUALITATIVE AND QUANTITATIVE ANALYSIS OF FLAVONOIDS FROM ROBINIA PSEUDOACACIA USING TWO DIFFERENT TECHNIQUES OF ANALYSIS: Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC) and TLC coupled with photo-densitometry. The results obtained by chromatographic analysis showed a higher concentration of flavonoids in flowers than in leaves. The flowers harvested in the plains have a highe...
