چکیده
TiO2 is a promising photocatalyst, but its large bandgap restricts light absorption to the ultraviolet region. The addition of noble metals can reduce and electron-hole recombination; therefore, we prepared TiO2-Ag nanoparticle composite films by plasma-enhanced chemical vapor deposition (PECVD) using mixture aerosolized AgNO3, which was used as Ag precursor, titanium tetraisopropoxide, acted precursor. Notably, use PECVD enabled low process temperature eliminated need for pre-preparing nanoparticles, thereby increasing efficiency. structures morphologies deposited were characterized (UV)—visible spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, photoelectron scanning electron microscopy, transmission microscopy energy-dispersive effects AgNO3 concentration on photocatalytic activity determined assessing degradation methylene blue under UV irradiation. ions successfully reduced metallic nanoparticles embedded in film. best achieved 1 wt% Ag-loaded film, 1.75 times that pristine TiO2.

Tungsten Doped TiO2 with Enhanced Photocatalytic and Optoelectrical Properties via Aerosol Assisted Chemical Vapor Deposition
Tungsten doped titanium dioxide films with both transparent conducting oxide (TCO) and photocatalytic properties were produced via aerosol-assisted chemical vapor deposition of titanium ethoxide and dopant concentrations of tungsten ethoxide at 500 °C from a toluene solution. The films were anatase TiO2, with good n-type electrical conductivities as determined via Hall effect measurements. The ...

Gallium assisted plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition of silicon nanowires.
Silicon nanowires have been grown with gallium as catalyst by plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition. The morphology and crystalline structure has been studied by electron microscopy and Raman spectroscopy as a function of growth temperature and catalyst thickness. We observe that the crystalline quality of the wires increases with the temperature at which they have been synthesized. The cry...
متن کاملCuInS2 Films Deposited by Aerosol-Assisted Chemical Vapor Deposition Using Ternary Single-Source Precursors
Photovoltaics are an important power source for both off-grid terrestrial and extraterrestrial use. Thin film polycrystalline materials have been studied extensively for solar cell applications partially because their polycrystalline nature allows their formation on many different types of substrates including glass, metal foil, and lightweight flexible polymer substrates. For example, monolith...
