IntroductionPatient satisfaction after breast cancer surgery has an impact on body image, sexual function, self-esteem, and quality of life may differ from the perception attending physician. This study aimed to compare aesthetic outcomes with conservative oncoplastic surgeries, mastectomies, total reconstruction.MethodsWe included 760 women diagnosed invasive carcinoma or phyllodes tumors who returned at least 6 months radiotherapy two public hospitals a private clinic between 2014 2022. Data was collected prospectively patients retrospectively their medical records using specific form obtaining informed consent. Aesthetic were assessed BREAST-Q©, Harris Scale, BCCT.core software. evaluated SPSS statistical Statistical significance set p < 0.05. approved by hospital ethics committees.ResultsA 405 (53.29%) partial 355 (46.71%) reconstructions included. Patients underwent reconstruction older had higher mass index. larger advanced clinical pathological stages. Clinical surgical complications occurred more frequently in group.
