چکیده
Broccoli (Brassica oleracea L. var. italica) is one of the most important vegetable crops cultivated worldwide. The market demand for broccoli still increasing due to its richness in vitamins, anthocyanins, mineral substances, fiber, secondary metabolites and other nutrients. famous metabolites, glucosinolates, sulforaphane selenium have protective effects against cancer. Significant progress has been made fine-mapping cloning genes that are responsible traits; this provides a foundation marker-assisted selection (MAS) breeding. Genetic engineering by well-developed Agrobacterium tumefaciens-mediated transformation contributed improvement quality; postharvest life; glucosinolate content; resistance insects, pathogens abiotic stresses. Here, we review recent genetics molecular breeding broccoli. Future perspectives improving also briefly discussed.

Preservation of bio-specimens for molecular biological applications traditionally involves freezing which increases laboratory and research project costs. Protection and stabilization of DNA at room temperature (RT) may eliminate the costs associated with freezer storage. However, there is a paucity of information describing the yield, purity, and integrity of DNA stored at RT. Objectives were ...
