The Ni(II) atom in the title salt, [Ni(C(2)H(8)N(2))(3)](C(10)H(6)O(6)S(2)), is chelated by three ethyl-enediamine ligands in an octa-hedral geometry. The cation and anion are linked by N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds into a three-dimensional network. One of the two -SO(3) groups is disordered over two positions in a 1:1 ratio.
