چکیده
Considering environmental friendliness and economic factors, the separation extraction of indium under acidic conditions are great significance. In this research, metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) UiO-66 were successfully prepared used for adsorption indium. The properties structurally characterized using powder X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier-Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), Brunauer-Emmett-Teller surface area analyzer (BET), thermogravimetric analysers (TGA) Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM). results show that can resist acid keep its structure unchanged, even at a strong acidity pH 1. performance to (III) was also evaluated. process ions by Langmuir isotherm, with maximum capacity 11.75 mg·g−1 being recorded. kinetics experiment preferably fits second-order kinetic model. A possible mechanism In(III) explored through photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) Fourier transform infrared analysis(FT-IR). It concluded C=O free –COOH involved in cation exchange. This study indicates, first time, be applied as an acid-resistant adsorbent recover (III).

Water adsorption in UiO-66: the importance of defects.
Simulated adsorption isotherms for water in UiO-66 illustrate that defects in the form of missing linkers make this MOF more hydrophilic. Heats of adsorption and density plots further confirm the effect of defects on adsorption of water in UiO-66 at low loadings. In addition, water and CO2 isotherms indicate that not only the amount of defects but their locations within the material affect the ...
متن کاملAdsorption of Lead ions from aqueous solution by the dead biomass of nanoalgae Scenedesmus sp.
In attempts to remove toxic metal lead, distinct types of algae biomass have been scrutinized as alternatives to conventional physicochemical technologies. In this research, the absorption of Lead by nanoalgae Scenedesmus sp. was studied at concentration of10 to 100 mg/L, pH 3 to 8, temperature 15 to 40 °C and exposure time of 10 to 60 minutes)in a batch culture system. The concentration of Le...
متن کاملAdsorption of chromium ions from aqueous solution by using activated carbo-aluminosilicate material from oil shale.
A novel activated carbo-aluminosilicate material was prepared from oil shale by chemical activation. The chemicals used in the activation process were 95 wt% sulfuric and 5 wt% nitric acids. The produced material combines the sorption properties and the mechanical strength of both activated carbon and zeolite. An X-ray diffraction analysis shows the formation of zeolite Y, Na-X, and A-types, so...

Adsorption of Zn (II) from aqueous solution by using chitin extraction from crustaceous shell
Removal of toxic heavy metals from wastewater is an important environmental challenge. In this Study, Zn (II) removal from aqueous solution by chitin extraction from crustaceous shells (shrimp and crab) was investigated. The biosorption studies were determined as a function of contact time, pH, initial metal concentration, and the amount of adsorbent. Adsorption of Zn (II) increased with decrea...
