Adoption Pattern of Mechanization of Paddy Farms in West Godavari District of Andhra Pradesh, India

Farm mechanization is a crucial component of contemporary agriculture. Along with lowering labour costs and human drudgery, it increases productivity. Mechanization enhances the safety comfort agricultural workers, efficiency which other inputs are used, quality added value produce. The present study assesses adoption pattern farm at level among 120 sample paddy farmers West Godavari district Andhra Pradesh. Adoption index was applied for selected respondents to their machinery different operations performed during production. overall score 45.78. Complete found in plant protection operation, tillage have average 77.19. There no observed inter cultural sowing, transplanting harvesting mainly large farms.
