Adopting Meritocracy among the Youth for International Development in Developing Countries

The aim of this research was to highlight how meritocracy can be adopted tap youth as a resource for development in Developing countries. This meritocratic perspective is based on the premise that one's talents are primarily derived from their inherent qualities (e.g., personality and general intelligence). As result, environment described one recognizes an individual's abilities provides them with and, opportunities they need excel endeavors. qualitative analysis integrative literature review desk study secondary data. findings show achieved through, talent-based careers, educational tailored natural aptitude, achievement foundation social reward system society. practice may harnessed build up effective work culture promote economic growth development. Nevertheless, what we conclude non-meritocratic currently practiced countries, especially neopatrimonialism, considered play important role hindering access opportunities. Therefore, strategy policy makers should consider adopting if want succeed at jumpstarting capitalist market model.
