چکیده
Abstract: Background and Objectives: Myocardial ischemia is one of the leading causes deaths among cardiac pathological conditions. Doxorubicin belongs to anthracycline class drug which effective against a wide variety neoplasms. However, doxorubicininduced cardiotoxicity limits clinical utility drug. One major myocardial oxidative stress. Adhatoda vasica have been shown possess strong anti-inflammatory during reperfusion injury induced by doxorubicin in zebrafish model. Materials Methods: Cardiac was Zebrafish using doxorubicin. further supplemented antioxidants enzymes were analysed. also infected with MRSA anti-microbial activity A. Results: Supplementation extract reduces stress through improvement catalase, superoxide dismutase GSH activities subsequently lipid peroxidation. mediated inflammatory response tissue neutralized supplementation plant improves architecture. inhibiting growth has cause serious complications surgery prosthetic implantation. dose-dependent suppression virulence gens such as spA mecA. Conclusion: Therefore, may be useful controlling microbial infections complications. In conclusion, present study indicates that can Keywords: Doxorubicin, ischemia, Antioxidant, MRSA, vasica.

Effect of Troxerutin on Oxidative Stress Induced by Sciatic Nerve Ischemia-reperfusion Injury in Rats
Background:Troxerutin has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties and in this study, its antioxidant effect on the reduction of oxidative stress induced by ischemia-reperfusion sciatic nerve injury was investigated. Methods:In this study, 64 male rats were randomly divided into 8 groups as follows: 1- IR2: ischemia (3 hours) and reperfusion (2 days), 2- T...
متن کاملOxymatrine ameliorates renal ischemia-reperfusion injury from oxidative stress through Nrf2/HO-1 pathway.
PURPOSE To investigate if oxymatrine pretreatment could ameliorate renal I/R injury induced in rats and explore the possible role of oxymatrine in Nrf2/HO-1 pathway. METHODS Unilaterally nephrectomized rats were insulted by I/R in their left kidney. Twenty four rats were randomly divided into three groups: sham group, I/R + saline-treated group, I/R + OMT-treated group. Oxymatrine or vehicle ...
متن کاملColchicine protects rat skeletal muscle from ischemia/reperfusion injury by suppressing oxidative stress and inflammation
Objective(s): Neutrophils play an important role in ischemia/reperfusion (IR) induced skeletal muscle injury. Microtubules are required for neutrophil activation in response to various stimuli. This study aimed to investigate the effects of colchicine, a microtubule-disrupting agent, on skeletal muscle IR injury in a rat hindlimb ischemia model. Materials and Methods: Twenty-one Sprague-Dawley ...
متن کاملOxidative Stress and Lung Ischemia-Reperfusion Injury
Ischemia-reperfusion (IR) injury is directly related to the formation of reactive oxygen species (ROS), endothelial cell injury, increased vascular permeability, and the activation of neutrophils and platelets, cytokines, and the complement system. Several studies have confirmed the destructiveness of the toxic oxygen metabolites produced and their role in the pathophysiology of different proce...
متن کاملCarthamus tinctorius L. ameliorates brain injury followed by cerebral ischemia-reperfusion in rats by antioxidative and anti-inflammatory mechanisms
Objective(s): Carthamus tinctorius L. (CT) or saffloweris widely used in traditional Chinese medicine. This study investigated the effects of CT extract (CTE) on ischemia–reperfusion (I/R) brain injury and elucidated the underlying mechanism. Materials and Methods: The I/R model was conducted by occlusion of both common carotid arteries and right middle cerebral artery for 90 min followed by 24...
