In English, English French abstracts. Ongoing studies L. (Myrtaceae) in Caledonia revealed a number of issues need clarification. A new synonymy is proposed: Schizocalyx neocaledonica Brongn. Gris reduced to under ovigera Gris. name E. pubiflora N. Snow Callm. proposed for the illegitimate calycorectoides Guillaumin. Lectotypes are 15 names: bullata Pancher ex Guillaumin, daenikeri ericoides horizontalis Gris, huerlimannii kaalensis littoralis var. deplanchei magnifica paludosa stricta Jambosa canalensis Myrtus poimbailensis Xanthomyrtus pergracilis Diels. neotype also designated gacognei Montrouz.
