This paper deals with the control problems of a wind turbine working in its nominal zone. In this region, speed is controlled by means pitch angle, which keeps power constant against fluctuations. The non-uniform profile causes tower displacements that must be reduced to improve lifetime. work, an adaptive structure operating on angle variable proposed for nonlinear model provided FAST software. composed gain scheduling proportional–integral (PI) controller, feedforward compensation speed, and damping. tuning controller parameters formulated as Pareto optimization problem minimizes fore-aft deviation generator using multi-objective genetic algorithms. Three multi-criteria decision making (MCDM) methods are compared, satisfactory solution selected. optimal solutions generation displacement reduction also obtained. performance these three evaluated set pattern conditions compared achieved classical baseline PI controller.
