Adaptive, Observer-Based Synchronization of Different Chaotic Systems

In this study, the problem of master–slave synchronization two different chaotic systems is considered and solved under a novel set assumptions. The mathematical model each them contains unknown, constant parameters. Only single output master system available, only input slave control input. proposed, approach based on active cooperation adaptive observer controller slave. tuning function technique included in observer–controller design to avoid overparameterization. Complexity explosion unacceptable increases parameters are prevented by proper techniques application. Due selected type, derivation restricted defined class systems—output-nonlinear parametric (ONP) systems. Linear transformation several popular (e.g., Arneodo, Arneodo–Coullet, Genesio–Tesi, Lur’e) into ONP form discussed. stability whole, closed-loop derived using Lyapunov examples implementation (synchronization Arneodo 3D jerk systems) provided.
