Adapting the Social Force Model for Low Density Crowds in Open Environments

چکیده

TheSocialForce Model (SFM) successfully reproduces many collective phenomena in evacuations or dense crowds. However, pedestrians behaviour is context dependent and the SFM has some limitations when simulating crowds an open environment under normal conditions. Specifically, urban public square tend to expand their personal space try avoid areas reduce risk of collision. Based on SFM, proposed model splits perception into a large zone restricted frontal which they pay more attention. Through perceptions, agents estimate crowd density dynamically adapt space. Finally, original social force tuned reflect preference avoiding by turning rather than slowing down as long there enough Simulation results show that considered approach produces realistic behaviours SFM. The simulated less with same number collisions occur, better fits observations sparse place

Adapting Density Attacks to Low-Weight Knapsacks

Cryptosystems based on the knapsack problem were among the first public-key systems to be invented. Their high encryption/ decryption rate attracted considerable interest until it was noticed that the underlying knapsacks often had a low density, which made them vulnerable to lattice attacks, both in theory and practice. To prevent low-density attacks, several designers found a subtle way to in...

the search for the self in becketts theatre: waiting for godot and endgame

this thesis is based upon the works of samuel beckett. one of the greatest writers of contemporary literature. here, i have tried to focus on one of the main themes in becketts works: the search for the real "me" or the real self, which is not only a problem to be solved for beckett man but also for each of us. i have tried to show becketts techniques in approaching this unattainable goal, base...

Simulating Riot for Virtual Crowds with a Social Communication Model

In this work we attempt to build a communication model to simulate a large variety of collective behaviors in the course of riot formation for virtual crowd. The proposed crowd simulation system, IMCrowd, has been implemented with a multi-agent system in which each agent has a local perception and autonomous abilities to improvise their actions. The algorithms used in our communication model in...

Density Avoidance in Pedestrian Crowds

Traffic jam caused by self-propelled particles is a research topic of broad interest. Cellular automata models are used for the simulation and analysis. One of the popular models is the floor field model. We add the rule of avoiding high density among particles to the model and show that it enables simulating a more realistic situation.
