Adaptation of Mother’s Character in Putu Wijaya’s Monolog “Ibu Sejati”

The Bugis-Makassar cultural community has a firm and courageous character. character can be created through the values contained in Panngaderreng concept (ade, rapang, wari, bicara, sara). Monolog, Ibu Sejati by Putu Wijaya, tells of woman who is dilemma, having to choose between her son making crime or enforcing law. This study aims create mother Wijaya’s IbuSejati, based on concept. reseach creation this Monolog form adaptation, namely examining female characters embodied performances.
