چکیده
Abstract In this issue of Cancer Research, Zhou and colleagues investigate the role acute kidney injury (AKI) AKI-associated systemic inflammation in development cancer. They demonstrate a positive association between formation clear-cell renal cell carcinoma AKI induced by ischemia-reperfusion genetically modified mice. parallel with emergence tumors, mice ischemic develop associated tissue infiltration neutrophils fibroblasts upregulated expression several inflammatory factors, CXCL1 displaying highest levels upregulation. Accordingly, blockade CXCL1-mediated signaling inhibited tumors subjected to injury. The study provides evidence for new experimental approach prevent reduce cancer incidence through modulation AKI-induced response using inhibitors CXC/CXCR2 axis. As continues increase, treatment strategies devastating disease are urgently needed. provide preclinical proof concept therapeutic strategy address an unmet need difficult treat disease. Different Biomarkers of Acute kidney Injury in Cancer Patients
Acute Kidney Injury (AKI) occurs if the kidneys suddenly lose their ability to remove waste products. When the kidneys lose their ability to filter, dangerous levels of waste products can accumulate, which can upset the chemical composition of the blood and urine. Chemotherapy is one of the methods used to treat or temporarily reduce cancer by using certain medications. The main task of this tr...
متن کاملInflammation in acute kidney injury.
Ischemia-reperfusion injury (IRI) is one of the major causes of acute kidney injury (AKI) and evidence supporting the involvement of both innate and adaptive immunity in renal IRI has accumulated in recent years. In addition to leukocytes, kidney endothelial cells promote inflammation after IRI by increasing adhesion molecule expression and vascular permeability. Kidney tubular epithelial cells...

https://e-kcj.org Contrast-induced acute kidney injury (CI-AKI) is one of important complication after coronary angiography and percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). CI-AKI has been found to be strongly associated with morbidity and mortality of the patients. Furthermore, CI-AKI may not be always reversible, and may be associated with development of chronic kidney disease in long term.1) Th...
متن کاملFrequency of Postoperative Acute Kidney Injury and its Related Risk Factors in Orthopedic Surgery Patients
Background: Patients who undergo major orthopedic surgery are at risk of acute kidney injury (AKI) due to blood loss, electrolyte disorders, infection, and the presence of other co-morbidities. In this study, the frequency and risk factors of AKI were investigated. Objective & Methods: This study is a cross-sectional-analytical study with a sample size of 180 people. The studied population wer...
متن کاملMediators of Inflammation in Acute Kidney Injury
Acute kidney injury (AKI) remains to be an independent risk factor for mortality and morbidity. Inflammation is now believed to play a major role in the pathophysiology of AKI. It is hypothesized that in ischemia, sepsis and nephrotoxic models that the initial insult results in morphological and/or functional changes in vascular endothelial cells and/or in tubular epithelium. Then, leukocytes i...
