Active teaching methodologies in health education

ABSTRACT This study is a literature review on the contributions of active methodologies in Higher Education health area. From reviewed (texts, articles and books), an academic essay was written, addressing ideas, reflections, citations authors’ personal impressions theme. After analyzing literature, it realized that despite being involved teaching-learning process for several years, still require teachers students widely appropriate their benefits. The implementation this change will help coping with factors have negatively interfered higher education. It challenge needs to be embraced by students. Conclusions: Active teaching can included all models methods aim promote learning expand possibilities develop competencies.
