Active Jet Noise Control of Turbofan Engine Based on Explicit Model Predictive Control

The active jet noise control received significant attention due to the little influence it has on engine performance. is a multivariable problem because needs achieve simultaneous closed-loop of and Model predictive (MPC) great application potentials in field aero-engines, but real-time performance MPC intractable. This paper proposed an controller turbofan engine, based explicit model (EMPC). An integrated noise, which calculates parameters real time, was established. online computational burden transferred offline computation using multi-parametric quadratic programming (MPQP). To improve efficiency positioning algorithm, sequence search method replaced by binary tree. Step simulations were performed test effectiveness controller. results show that EMPC not only achieves also greatly.
