چکیده
Abstract Despite of tremendous potential multiphoton lithography (MPL) in laboratorial and industrial applications, simultaneous achievement high throughput, accuracy, design freedom, a broad range material structuring capabilities remains long-pending challenge. To address the issue, we propose an acousto-optic scanning with spatial-switching multispots (AOSS) method. Inertia-free nonlinear swept techniques have been developed for achieving ultrahigh-speed aberration-free scanning. Moreover, spatial optical switch concept has implemented to significantly boost throughput while maintaining resolution freedom. An eight-foci AOSS system demonstrated record-high 3D printing rate 7.6×10^7 voxel/s, which is nearly one order magnitude higher than earlier MPL, exhibiting its promise future scalable nanomanufacturing.

Two-Element Phased-Array Acousto-Optic Deflector at High Diffraction Efficiency: Scanning Range Broadening
An acousto-optic deflector with a two-element phased-array piezoelectric transducer is investigated at high diffraction efficiency (close to 100%). Significant broadening of the frequency band (and, thus, the angular scanning range) relative to the well-known low efficiency regime is theoretically predicted and experimentally demonstrated. Experiments with an off-axis deflector based on paratel...

Acousto-optic deflectors (AODs) arranged in series and driven with linearly chirped frequencies can rapidly focus and tilt optical wavefronts, enabling high-speed 3D random access microscopy. Non-linearly chirped acoustic drive frequencies can also be used to shape the optical wavefront allowing a range of higher-order aberrations to be generated. However, to date, wavefront shaping with AODs h...
متن کاملDifferent Plastic Materials Based Acousto-optic Modulators (AOMs) Design Considerations for Fast Switching Applications
An acousto-optic modulator (AOM) allows to diffract a laser beam going through a crystal from the incidence angle (order 0) to another angle (order 1). The diffracted beam intensity depends on the radio frequency (RF) power applied to the device while the output angle depends on the material but is also proportional to the laser wavelength and to the RF drive frequency. When only intensity modu...

Acousto-optic (AO) imaging is a promising technique that is able to reveal optical properties in the millimeter range inside scattering media by tagging the photon paths with an ultrasonic beam. To increase both the contrast and the resolution of the AO images, we have explored the possibility of using the nonlinear response of the speckle modulation. Variation of the second-harmonic signal as ...
