Abstract At the climax of quarrel between Achilles and Agamemnon in Iliad , ponders whether to kill king (1.191). The first half line, however, has received little attention, but various interpretations that have been put forth unconvincing. This article proposes an interpretation reveals at least momentarily contemplating fomenting a revolt on part army against Agamemnon's authority.
